Snap-on Customer Portal – Privacy Policy

Snap-on Diagnostics is the data controller for any personal data you provide directly through this portal.

• Customer Account (BP) Number
• Company Postcode

These details are used to verify your identity and allow access to your account data.

b. Updating Contact Details

You may submit updated contact information (e.g., name, phone number, email, address). This information is used to update records held by Snap-on.

c. Invoice Queries

When submitting an invoice query, we collect:

• Your question or comment
• Contact name
• Phone number
• Email address

This data is used solely to respond to your query.

d. Payments
You may make payments against outstanding invoices. All sensitive payment information is handled securely by our third-party provider, GoCardless. We do not store or process sensitive payment details within our systems.

3. System Logging
We collect anonymous usage logs for internal reporting and monitoring, including:

• Login attempt counts
• Invoice query counts
• Payment transaction counts

This data is used to monitor performance and service usage trends.

4. Cookies and Tracking
We do not use tracking cookies, marketing cookies, or any analytics scripts on the customer portal. Therefore, no cookie consent banner is required.

We process data strictly in accordance with the data controller's instructions, and do not use or share your personal data for any other purpose.
